Sightseeing Trips

We organise monthly trips and can integrate your student into any of our trips. This will help student to meet other International students and indeed some Irish teenagers, can help with those who are shy or homesick to have someone to connect with. Trips are around Ireland at the best visitor locations. Food may be arranged on some of the trips and travel is usually in a privately hired coach. Costs depend on numbers and location but generally varies between €20-€35 pp. Locations include:

• Glendalough

• Giants Causeway

• Belfast Christmas Markets

• Cliffs of Moher

• West Coast Surfing

• Bray Cliff Walk

• Titanic Museum

Student Placement

EirStudy can offer a student placement only service which can also be tailored to your needs. Our standard placement service includes:

• Contact and organisation of schools around the country – Contact us to establish which locations are available.

• Arrangement of school fees (This school fee is not included in consultancy costs).

• Liaising with schools on individual requests for subjects that a student may require (where possible)

• Selection of host families.

• Competition of Garda vetting for security and legal obligations.

• Full family assessment including application, interview, house inspection, pictures, references etc.

• Student/family matching service to ensure the best match for both parties.

  This service can include the school organisation if required or just the host family placement. This can be discussed and tailored to your requirements.

Student Support Service

We can also offer a student support service if required. This would mean that the student would have a Local Support Co- Ordinator at all times while in Ireland. It is preferred to integrate this with complete program management or student placement as the quality of the placement cannot be guaranteed if not already completed by EirStudy.
